A New Santa by Christy Robb

Santa by Christy Robb

A recent visit to a large arts and crafts show in Des Moines yielded this find – a wonderful primitive hanging Santa by artist Christy Robb of Morning Sun, Iowa.  My daughter Megan and I had a nice visit with Christy.  I always look for her booth at this show and have another one of her Santas.  She combines all kinds of vintage stuff with her pieces (not always seasonal) and they are really fun.

Currently, this Santa, being new, is hanging on my cubicle wall at work.  I’m trying to get into the spirit so I can design West Bank’s entry for the Festival of Trees and Lights which is coming up quite soon – November 24 – 28 at the Polk County Convention Center.
