About Penny French

Penny says, "I began making bears in the early 70s, for my children.   In 1984 I started "back mountain bears" never imagining that I would still be here 26 years later and still loving every minute of it.  I sell primarily at shows and do about 10 to 12 a year, mostly on the east coast from NY to FL, with an occasional trip to San Diego.  I like to make sweet looking bears that evoke a smile or a sigh."
